No raptor allocations for 30 days if caught is a hilariously small slap on the wrist.

Needs to be more like the Lightning punishment of a $25k fine and no future allocations, period. Reward the honest dealers with the allocations.

Not only that, but customers need a way to easily and officially report them to Ford.

In the current market, I think it can have an effect. let’s say you are a greedy stealer and bilk some lesser knowing customers for 30k over, pocketing a tidy profit. you score another allocation and seeing the current market you put the next one up for 35k over and get reported.

Ford comes in and says NO, and no allocations for you for 30 days. so, you now have a Raptor, but the next one you had a shot at is gone and with current scheduling and production, you could be 3-4 months away from another allocation, or 2 -3, give or take, depending on when you get your wrist slapped.

What will customers do? Find another stealership. Lots of Jen Tres buyers put in multiple orders, Jonesing to that guy on their block with the shiny new Raptor.

I’d like to see a harder line too, but it’s something and it’s better than nothing.

Do yourself a favor and get a 911 at sticker. You’ll thank me later.
At least around here, Porsche's aren't selling at sticker...many dealerships can't even sell a 911 because their allocations are sold out for as far as they can see. My dealer said if I ordered it would be at minimum a 2 year wait but they couldn't even promise that. Even Cayennes have $10K markup, Macans have $5K-$10K, Panameras are $15K-$20K. Oddly, they had a Taycan on the lot for msrp ($180K). I called around to several different dealers and the adm was same/similar all around the west.

I mean, I would pay an adm for a 911/GT2/GT3 all-day over paying it for a GT500 :)

A TWO YEAR WAIT! What has happened to America? We really are becoming a socialist paradise. I've posted this video before, but its so apropos right now.

You must be in the government.
Retired from govt. my dad told me when I was a wee tot, work for the govt. You won’t get rich but you will have job security and benefits and he was right.

But what I really meant is when friends ask my advice on purchases ranging from camera gear to automobiles and many things in between. If they are looking to go cheap don’t bother me. I don’t know from cheap.
