Ford tracking stuck “in production”

Mine is still awaiting shipping…got bumped back again from 9/24 -> 10/13 -> 10/25. Truck completed production on 8/21 per dealer and Ford Performance chat And has been sitting in Dearborn since. No bedliner or tonneau or any other holds that anyone can see.

I don't even know what to make of the Ford tracking site anymore. I am not sure if the dates are real or if you require a 'check mark' to confirm the production steps have actually been completed? i.e. I show 'In Production' but with a 'built' date of 7/30. No check mark though. My delivery date has moved 3 times and and is now currently 10/7. The 'Shipped' section has never changed from 'Est 04 Days' for about 2 months. So who knows at this point.

My point is - I have mentally convinced myself that if the truck never arrives, I will buy the R if possible. Just to punish myself financially, like this is all my fault.

Anyone else have an earlier blend date and still waiting? Mine is 7/26

Mine was the same, also coming to Houston area.. Produced 8/19, wasn't built until 9/18. Shipped 9/22, has been sitting in the Chicago (Bluisland) railyard since 9/27 according to dealer and FP. My delivery estimate is 10/20.

What the heck is wrong with your truck? Built in July but still not shipped? its gonna show up with 3000 "test miles" on it and worn out tires. Sorry sir, we had to do some Quality Assurance loops with it.

LOL. Exactly. But is it really built without a check mark on the tracker?


I am expecting it to show up with 3000+ miles and the paint stripped down to primer with no hood.

Very weird that some are just sitting and trucks built much later seem to be immediately shipping.

Did you do the auto start delete. I did. Same build date as yours. Mine has been shipped.

I was told I couldn’t make any changes once I had a scheduled build date and VIN so no Auto Start/Stop Delete. I wouldn’t think that would make a difference if Ford Performance and Dealer both said production was complete and the truck was built on 8/21 but who knows how accurate any of the information coming out of Ford really is. ‍

Mine has the start/stop delete and it doesn’t not even have a “built” date yet. Our trucks are likely in the back of the shipping line and the new builds are coming out too fast with no way to get ours out. Who knows at this point, super frustrating.

I received the same update. Stuck on a train in Blue Island, IL. ETA 10/17 - 10/23.
