Great write up and it looks awesome. Now I wished I would have taken Welding Class more serious when I was in high School. I can Arc weld, but that as far as I can go. You got some skills.

Very nice! Tough-looking bumper!
My only criticism (and it's a minor one) is that the skid plate is a little cobby looking - maybe not up to the same level of excellence as the bumper itself.

Thanks for write up and pics!

Impressive undertaking. Makes it that much cooler that you made it.

"I made it"

"No shi#t?"

"Yeah"

"damn"

Awesome looking bumper man. I love it.

I wish I knew how to weld and shit. I'd be making all kinds of crap for my truck.

I will say hearing you guys say good things is as good if not better than hearing it in person from a random individual! So Thanks again! :party36::party36::party36:

Nice work! I used to own my own shop and fabrication was one of the main focuses of the business and I can tell you you have mad fab skills! I built a lot of stuff with one of those harbor freight pipe kinkers. Take it from me, do yourself a favor and get an inexpensive tube bender like a JD2 and the results will be amazing! I works so good it'll make you want to fab more!

Ones your pipe is welded to the the attachment plates you can fill the side plates in. I used more cardboard to get a good match to the rest of it:

I've been wanting a better bender. It honestly is the only thing that has stopped me from making more stuff.

What price range for something that wouldn't kink stuff up to like 2.5" pipe? Any info on pipe benders would be awesome!!!

My ol' Man did high steel back in the 70's and stopped doing it after he saw many of his friends/workers fall to their deaths. Figured he better pick family or work and I'm glad he chose family instead.
