Ford Raptor for Export - No international orders? Need help

Hello everyone,

I am new here and English is not my native language so please forgive my mistakes.

I am looking to buy a new Ford Raptor Supercab with the raptor plus package and spray-in bedliner. I will have to drop the luxury package since it is no longer available without NAV and I have no use for it where I live.

Here is the catch. I contacted a few dealers and the told me they could't take international orders for the Raptor. Is this true? I can understand this for resselers but for individuals...

The other thing is that I see plenty of Raptors in Congo so there has to be a way around this problem.

I hope to find some help here, maybe from persons that exported a new Raptor from the US,...

Thanks

The cheapest way is coming here and buying it for cash. Paying all city and state taxes. Finding a export company and shipping it. Then paying import taxes what ever country it's going to be shipped to. It's a lot of paperwork and some stress. But we'll worth it if it's something you want. Can you purchase this truck in Europe? It might be easier. If you can find a person that is willing to purchase the vehicle it's a 30 - 33 percent surcharge. So might as well come to America for a vacation and ship it back.

My local dealer sells trucks that get exported all the time. This applies to new orders and you must wait for it to get built and then handle all the paperwork or have an export company do it for you...that's not the worst part, its going to be the duties getting it imported into the Congo. 54.1% of the value.

IMPORTATION OF VEHICLES
Vehicles are subject to high import taxes and duties. Those cleared without an exemption are subject to
54.1% of value estimated by Customs Authority. The OBL must show Chassis Number, Engine number,
Cubic Capacity, year of manufacture, brand and model.
Vehicles 7 years and older are prohibited.
Required Documents:
 Certificate of Title and Registration - must be original
 Commercial/Purchase Invoice – must be original
 OBL - (rated) or invoice for freight paid

Check with your local customs for exemption rules and/or a lower duty class that you may be able to qualify for.

Good luck and I hope you can find a way to work it out.
