I hate to ask this (another dumb question?) but why does it say "1990 Toyota"?

I have got no clue. It's the paint code that the scanner came up with. The paint is "shot" three times and then the analyzer comes up with a paint code. The paint code is further broken down into the various colors and components.

I went to an automotive paint supply shop where they "shot" the fender flare (don't ask), front bumper and the body.

But if you think about it, with all of the automotive colors out there it has got to be somewhat difficult to come up with a paint code completely different (for two part paints) for a gray color. If I remember correctly the color from the flares comes up as a GM color code.

This is all I can tell you.

I've searched and can't find the pics and info regarding the modification of my exhaust system so, at the risk of duplicating what I thought was on this site here's some additional info:

Due to the damage done to my Raptor's tailpipe I went to the local exhaust ("muffler") shop and had them modify the tailpipe. I asked them to remove it up high near the last hanger. It didn't take long for them to cut the two pipes neatly using a sawzall and then they fabricated a new hanger which uses the stock hanger location. In the pics below you'll see how they made the hanger to wrap around the pipe giving it good support.

I'm very happy not having an the two big tips showing especially since they were flattened climbing the Death Valley waterfalls earlier this year. The truck saves some weight and there've been no issues having the last foot-and-a-half (approx) removed.

FYI cutting your factory exhaust will void your warranty just has much as a full exhaust. It all depends on how well your relationship with your service advisor, manager, and tech are when you have to file a warranty claim.

Anything is possible but void my warranty on the part that I removed and threw in the dumpster? What would it "void my warranty" on? How would cutting off a foot-and-a-half of pipes void anything?
