Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I wasn't especially amped on the movie. It felt like they tried to play the truck off as being mostly stock, but really it wasn't using much of anything the stock truck has.

I do agree that it's a great disc to pop in for car shows and what not though.

I agree, I quite didn't understand so i recall another member that asked me this question on page 1. They took a f150 donor? I dont know what they did to the engine but the Raptor R and the production is different. In the movie they didnt use the same fox shocks as the production car!!

If I recall correctly, I know they cammed the motor and they also added a full exhaust system onto it. I know they did a couple of other things to it as well but can't remember what. It did sound really nasty though.

Pretty sure they used 3" King coilovers on the front and 3" triple bypass kings on the rear along with what I'm guessing were Deavers. I can't remember if they were Fox or King (don't have the movie with me) but I know they were massive.

Whatever they did it wasnt stock. So they should of kept saying the million times through out this movie...

We changed 60% of the production car... but they kept saying how raptor stock can manage baja.

I chalk a lot of it up to the fact that it's marketing material at the end of the day and honestly, I think the majority of the public who is watching this video and considering a Raptor isn't really up to speed on desert racing and the equipment involved like a lot of us are here. Most people can't tell the difference between the Fox shock on the back and the 3" triple bypasses they were using on that race raptor...my wife didn't even understand why I was annoyed.

I think the video is pretty damn impressive marketing material...albeit a bit disingenuous as to how "stock" the truck was.
