If you have to tear down the whole engine to do this, why bother trying to make it work with the stock valvetrain stuff......This just doesn't compute.

Looks to me like some one at ford woke up and said shit! I got a shelf full of these cams that wont work since there is no xt truck. And we told every one the Raptor R motor was just like the production motor.

Lets sell them for lotsa money. LOL

Am I wrong? Not starting a war just what does every one think on this?

I will bid $100.00 each since I would have to rebuild my motor and get fly cut pistons.

totally agree. we got snowed.

Livernois package deals aren't a bad price, I'm leaning very heavily towards their 6.6l stroker (11.1:1 compression) and ported heads with these cams - this total package should be deep into the 600bhp range on pump gas - parts cost will be around 13.5k plus installation and tuning. I know you can get more power for less money with a supercharger but I don't want to tow/offroad with a forced induction engine that has cast pistons.

There might be a core refund for the stock block/heads but I haven't asked yet.
