Here's some pics, I installed mine over 5 years ago, so I didn't realize (remember) that I trimmed the top of the plastic plate holder at the top as seen in the one pic. There is no drilling at all though!

You're the man!! Those pics are very helpful. Was just up in BC to visit the Mount Polley and Red Chris mines. Stay warm up there!

I might see if I can make an adapter to lower the plate 2-3 inches.

I placed the plate lower because my plate is higher and you couldn't read the upper row.
