You rebuild them not replace them and the cost is about $650 last I checked.

Depends if you have the time to have your truck sit at a shop. Time is money.

If you need your daily driver all the time, replacement is the way.
If your truck sits, rebuilt is the way.
If you're cheap and don't care about maintenance, ignoring it is the way.

I just bought the extended warranty from Granger for both my '22 Raptor and my daughter's '24 Bronco. Best price anywhere. The premium plan includes full maintenance plus 1000 different parts. It's all listed on their site.

It's now called the Premium Extended Warranty and is re-branded from what Ford called their Extended Service Plan (ESP).
