No. You don't leave it plugged in.There’s no reason to keep the tuner plugged in after install right? I know the tune adapts and improves over time.
On top of all that to have Ford say "The warranty" is only covered for the original 3/36k, is a backhand slap.I guess I’m a little bitter that Ford is charging for “better shift tables”. I don’t mind paying for power but having to pay extra for my truck to not shift like garbage is an insult. They know all the complaints, they know it could be improved upon, goose and Mpt have long ago produced a TCM strategy that makes these trucks shift like a dream, and now Ford shows up and acts like making the truck shift better is a “performance upgrade”. The TCM should be a free update to all 10 speeds. Rant over.
