Is there a way to tell if the tune is installed in your truck once the dealer install it by replugging in the procal device?

Ehhh. I wouldn’t think too much into it. Ford isn’t going to bank on selling trucks, and then an accessory tune, just to say they make as much or more HP than a Ram. They are selling as many raptors as they can build and 99% of customers won’t be cross shopping another brand over a few HP here or there. The accessory stuff is meant for the niche.

why didn’t they make it a 21-24 MY then for the tune? power train is exactly the same. I can’t think of anything that great as to why. We can at least hope for more power from ford haha

I’m guessing the tune is made for trucks with XYZ security protocol on the ecm. It’s just happenstance that 24’s have a different system.

CAFE laws are designed to continually tighten, so that could also be a reason. Hopefully Trump will put an end to that nonsense.

I stand corrected , no 24 tune yet according to ford performance. It was just a rumor but my sources checked it today with his rep
