Yup, it’s from ADD. Prime example of the Raptor Tax. Since we can afford a Raptor, they expect us to pay out the nose for mods.

These are facts. A Honda CRV chase rack is probably $250.

I would shy away from it on a Gen2/3. Other than the obvious price issue, I know first hand the aluminum bed on the Gen2 will collapse and tear under the weight of the stock Shelby rack/light-bar with moderate off-roading. That thing is very heavy and this one looks strikingly similar. After seeing that, I would be hesitant to put any light bar on that wasn't tied into an actual chase rack that bolts to the bed mounts and/or frame.

You pretty much could get a machine shop to fab a custom rack for that kinda $$$

My Shelby Baja came w the rack and light bar. They are well made and sturdy. A down side is You can not attach a bed cover. I take my truck off road frequently and have had no issues.

I agree 100% that the light bar was well made and sturdy. Just keep a close eye on your bed. We started noticing the bed sagging slightly on one side and it got worse quickly. We run high speed desert out here though (this incident actually happened in Baja), so it might come down to the type of terrain or could even be a one-off.

This seems like something you would see on a new truck with a ADM next to the sticker of 10k plus 5k for rack with a $200 50 inch Chinese light bar in it. My opinion
