Wow, $2900 and the lighting is not included. Having that little actuator to put up the light bar is gimmicky at best. If you can find that thing for half price--maybe. Still not exactly sure what these racks are supposed to do other than add a pointless 100 pounds to your truck, but to each, his own.

I’m with you man. I look at it and think w t f do you do with this. Perhaps someone can educate us! Lol Seems like an expensive way to add lights!

I AM NOT ADVOATING SPENDING $3000 ON THIS CHASE RACK

There, now that's out of the way...Purely judging by the fact that they add chase racks to the trucks at Raptor Assault, and purely judging by their use at Raptor Assault, I think this is likely just to provide a mounting point up high for some chase lights, and potentially roll in some forward facing offroad lights onto the same rack. And it looks cool. That's all I can figure.

Yup, they look identical. That's too much money, in my opinion. It is better to have the light at the back of the cab though, for 2 reasons, gets rid of the glare off the windshield and hood and also having a light bar up front can be very noisy (wind). The chase rack does give you a place to mount items though, such as a fire extinguisher, etc. If somebody bought it for me, I would use it.

Yup, it’s from ADD. Prime example of the Raptor Tax. Since we can afford a Raptor, they expect us to pay out the nose for mods.
