Yeah, that is different. Not seeing the latches that would lock it in place once 3rd panel is folded. So what now…ditch it for something else or live with it?
Yes sir. See if I can unload to someone at next to nothing. And then get my tonneau cover of choice I have had for years. Disappointed in the Ford design for sure

Not sure what you got.. looks like a soft one. But my ford hard cover opens all the way up on my 24… and did on my 19 too. They’re just the ford branded MXT or whatever. I get the ford because warranty covers all the seals etc.

Does your cover have the ford logo on it? A trifold cover folds in 3 places…. If yours only folds in two then the dealer might have installed one of their own supplied products not the official ford cover. Did your order on window sticker, ask the dealer after the fact to install?

The ford trifold is a rebranded bakflip mx4. I doubt they would have changed suppliers but it’s possible.

Yes, it has the Ford branding/logo at the section near the tailgate (center) I will check window sticker and see what they call it

Ask your dealer if you can change to a *hard* Tri-fold cover. You have the added security for whatever's inside your box and still have access to the full bed. I think many are mistaking the fact that you have a soft cover.

Added pics of mine to show how it folds up to the back of the cab, Vs, having to take it completely off.
