ford light bar rusting???

just got back from being in switzerland and italy for 5 weeks, and my girlfriend picked me up in the raptor, AND she had it washed!!!, couple days later i noticed that my ford light bar has rust stains and is rusting on the uprights??WTF??? anyone elses doing this??, thinking i might be pulling it off and getting it repowder coated, now what color??, blue to match the truck, gray, or get the thing rhino lined so this doesnt happen again.

buy the rattle can truck bed liner at auto zone or something and recoat it yourself for a few bucks
