Turns out the iwe gear was broken off... Got it replaced and ready to go! @Yukon Joe are you saying the rcv throwing grease is a bad sign or are you say not to drive until I tighten the band? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stupid question: what exactly will you notice if your IWE have failed? Sound description/vibration....I know how to check to with front end jacked up, the key on, turn the wheel and watch the half shaft.

Biggest thing is clicking noise, or a bang in the four wheel drive periodically while the front wheels are under a load.
