Ford Extended Service Plan Costs?????

Not sure this is the correct place to post but looking for feedback on a Ford ESP...Checked fordwarrantys.com and got the following offer:

Premium Care Plan
84 months
100,000 miles
No car rental reimbursement on first day
$200 deductible
$180 discount

Total cost is $1254.00

Trying to figure out if this is a good deal or not and whether it's worth doing...Any comments?

You're in the ballpark. Same coverage as yours but with $50 deduct, I paid about $50 more than the price you quoted back in May 2011. [not sure what you meant by $180 discount?] I'd get the quote for the $50 deduct, then decide how many visits you'd need to make it worth your while.

And, yes, IMHO with all the electronic gizmos (esp if you have the NAV, etc., etc.) well worth the cost and the peace of mind.

Thanks for the insight amigo...The $180 is some kind of discount the site was offering if I signed up by the 21st...A marketing gimmick no doubt...And the main reason I'm contemplating it is exactly because of the Nav stuff so I think I agree with you...Much appreciated
