If you want the V8... you want it in the new model not the outgoing model.

This is just their way of keeping sales up with a pending next gen on the horizon. Not to mention the premium they are going to charge... before the premium the dealers are going to add on.

Enjoy your 19’ for 3 years, then buy the new gen with a V8.

Think about this. 700hp in the Raptor. At 450hp it is very easy to out drive the suspension and brakes. So we are looking at the cost of the V8, trans upgrade(?), rearend upgrade(?), brakes, suspension, plus whatever extra fluff they add to make it "unique". Safe bet the entry level price will be in the $90k-$100k range.

I have a hard time believing it'll get the GT500 motor first off.

Second, as mentioned IF it comes out it will not be cheap, there will be HUGE ADMs if you can even find one available.

There will always be a better version coming down the pipeline...

From when you placed the order, how long did it take to get your build date, VIN, etc..?

I ordered a magnetic screw loaded up with everything but stickers and recaros. I ordered it on March 2nd and live just outside Detroit which is why it only takes about a week to get it after build date.

Thanks, I ordered mine on Feb 25th and still no word. I guess it's time to bug the dealer now.
