I haven't used rattle can bed liner on flares but I did use the same Bed Armor as @ajstar89 on my frame and it is holding up great I would recommend it. I used down fine sandpaper and brake cleaner on frame before coating and it stuck nicely. I'd used the same process on flares minus the brake cleaner. Lol

Right on. Any sort of clear coat to keep them from fading?

I just had a newborn so doing a full DIY write up for it is difficult with the time i got. Process is very easy. Standard painting, Remove trim, sand and then paint. Directions are on the can. I made my own spray booth as well, I suspended them via a wire. It actually takes quite a few coats.

After runs they do collect a lot of dust and dirt. I just simple green them down, and then use the trim detailers. Every company has one now, i don't recommend the gels. I use the spray ones, and they clean up just as nice as when i painted them.

Stuffs awesome and super easy to apply new coats over. Which was my goal for the fender flairs. Something I can run with and destroy, then buy a can and make it look new again.

My truck is black so not exactly on point - I had mine painted tuxedo black to match my truck paint color, then clear coated. They do get scratched if you go thru the bushes! So a wrap or linex would hold up better to off road use and abuse.

Satin black will likely better match your decals than gloss black. Good luck getting the right match!
