I'm waiting for a thread where someone boasts about the MOST they paid over MSRP at a SoCal dealer!!! LOL!! At the end of the day, all that matters to me is how much I paid for MY Gen2.

Its not an unheard of deal so I wouldn't think people would be doubting this. I think some people are just on the jealous side. Brush them off, no need to explain yourself to them.

Admittedly ~ When I first read it ... I was like WTF ...

Figured @Raptizzle was yanking the ole ball and chain but wasn't sure about @Mluis11 ... He had me good.

Ehhhh ... It was simply a post to encourage others seeking good deals to not give up, and to help answer the mountainous amount of PM's I got asking who the dealer I went through was

I'm waiting for the 6 figure Raptor in NorCal to disappear off the site knowing someone in SV paid a hefty sum to have one. Those that can afford that and not care .... are in a much different league than I. I could only imagine

Congratulations! Fair price for a vehicle that is clearly artifically in demand. At some point these Ford dealers will pull back and let them go for a decent price. It's no GT350! Again congratulations to all of you that waited. I'm hoping to see one in person at a local dealer and perhaps place an order for a 2018.

yeah but if you have that kind of crazy cash you can fly a private jet to anywhere in the country and pick up a raptor for 10K over sticker and drive it home and still save some cash!

congrats on that deal, and yes i'll be the first to admit i am jealous. sometimes it's timing, sometimes it's luck, sometimes it's crazy negotiating skill and hardcore dedication but either way congrats.

also, it's good to see these kinds of stories shared. as much as we blast all the crummy ford dealers (which seem to be most of them), it's probably even more important to put the good ones on a pedestal and give them as much business as possible. there are good dealers out there and they should be rewarded for their business integrity and dedication to us, the customer!

Nice to see confirmed deal. I'm sure there will be dealers who refuse to budge for some time, but eventually it'll be pretty easy to get invoice deals like this.

As far as pickups go, invoice price is still a rip, but for the Raptor that's the status quo.

It'll be interesting to see if any future F150 incentives apply to the Raptor which was a previously rumored possibility, or if the Raptor will continue to be excluded from most promotions. If they're trying to sell a lot of units under invoice could become the next thing.

Thanks again for sharing!
