Sold. For Sale: Deaver +2 Leafs

SOLD

Deaver +2 for sale - I need something with more load capacity to tow, etc. Asking $1000, obo. I can ship on a pallet, but will need to investigate carriers.

I've had these Deavers on my truck for about a month now. Light offroading (dirt county roads), did not do TRR, towed my 5k lb boat twice. I'll offer a ride/drive in the setup for a feel if needed if you're local. These will come with hardware for installation, including a new front spring eyelet bolt since the stock fuel tank side bolt gets cut during removal of stock springs.

New u-bolts need to be used too.

Curious but did you try the extended bump stop pads (4") that are made for the purpose of towing?

I have SVC adjustable bumpstops so that'll effectively do the same things as 4" bumps. The 2" Deavers are a fair bit softer than stock, which is a good thing - much more comfy than stock. But they also start at the same height as stock when the bed is unloaded. I've got additional weight in the bed on a daily basis which lowers me a bit. This is ok, except when also loaded or towing and that's more routine than I initially thought. So I figured I'd upgrade with more spring capacity.

I'm not trying to take over this for sale thread-but shouldn't +2 be 1" more than stock with the block removed?

Not as I understand it. The +1 is actually 1" lower than stock while removing block. +2 is even with stock while removing the block. And +3 finally is 1" over stock while removing the block. This is of course all approximated as these are leafs, not a rigid connection, and every truck will sit slightly different, even with different fuel levels as the only difference, aside from build tolerance and other subtle differences between trucks.

I've also been on midperch for a bit with these springs and it was level, and now I've got Fox3.0 fronts installed and have them set slightly above mid and am now slightly nose high.

That is correct. The stir block is 2.0" tall

Id like to take a look at them. I'm in Houston myself and I'm free this week. I'll PM my number.
