Quick story about me. I bought a new F-250 in 2008, first "new" truck I ever bought, two years later the Raptor came out and I have wanted one ever since. I had the itch to buy one so bad but didn't want the payment, so I put a Carli lift on the F-250 with King shocks, 37" Toyos and a ton of other stuff. That kept me happy for a while... (it was a beast) then my dang brother in law bought a Raptor about a year ago. He bought a wicked nice white super crew with nav and the luxury package. Earlier this summer we drove to Florida together in the Raptor (wives flew down) so I got to spend a lot of time in the Raptor. That turned out to be a very bad idea... my itch came back... bigtime. Well I was riding around last Tuesday and saw what appeared to be a clean black Raptor on a local dealers lot, located less then a mile from my house. I told myself if its there this weekend I'll go talk them about it. Of course it was still there, after the typical back and forth for about a day we worked a deal and now I have a Raptor in the driveway. And my wife blames my brother in law for it, so he is in the doghouse (win). Needless to say I am a very happy new owner.
I didn't know it at the time, but the new truck is really optioned out nice. Black super crew with SE package and every option I could find available except the bed extender and I will have that in just a few days. I am not a "car guy" so this is really the "Holy Grail" vehicle for me. I cant quit smiling...
