Flat Towing Nightmare

Be careful because I know of Seven 2nd generation Ford Raptors and one of them was mine that caught fire being Flat Towed. Private message me for details. They burn so hot because they are aluminum and no evidence to prove Ford is at fault. They try and blame it on operator error……. Believe me I went through the proper procedure to put my Raptor in Flat Tow mode. The funny part is the engineer that did the fire investigation on my Raptor from Ford did not even know the proper procedure. I had towed my Raptor behind my Newmar Essex for 3 years and over 40k miles.

I knew once I got the email notification this wouldn't be a happy ending. I would feel horrible if that happened to me and teaches us never flat tow an Raptor. Sorry.

And you probably don't have a million-dollar motorhome that's depreciating at 25% per year ... $70k is peanuts. People who flat tow Raptors can probably walk away from the loss. It still sucks, but it's not a financial crisis.
