I am flat towing my Raptor behind my RV using a blue ox kit that is designed for the regular F150s (2017) and they had to only do one thing to make it fit, skid plate in front has two screws in front on both left and right side, they could only put one in instead of the two. I am also using an Airforce 1 braking system

You must read the raptor manual supplement to put it into neutral tow. the process is different on the Raptor (2017) from other 2017 F150s and much easier, you use the buttons for the dash commands rather than turning the knob back and forth.

Lol what gave it away the "looking at putting down a deposit" or the number of posts.

Great info man. Would have taken you less than 5 min to confirm what was actually being asked if you've got a Gen 2.

Thanks Vsayler.

I know Blue Ox was looking for a Raptor to make a base plate specifically for it. Will have to call tomorrow to see if that's still in the works or if they decided the standard F-150 fit was correct.

How do you like the Air Force One? Just using the Blue Ox Patriot system in my Jeep now and prob will move to something different now.

I have been using Air Force 1 since about 2006, probably have over 100,000 miles on it over several different RVs. Never had any issues with it.

It states, "If your vehicle has a steering wheel lock make sure the ignition is in the accessory or on position when being towed." Do you have to tow with the accessory switch turned on to not allow the steering wheel to lock? If so, how long before the battery goes low?

I have the intelligent key access fob. After I put it into flat tow mode I hit the on/off button once more (no foot on brake) and that turns the car off. Then I put the fob in my pocket and close the car. See the instructions in the Raptor Supplement for the key fob.
