What did you do with the sensors Up front?

Did you just use painters tape around the bumper area?

Did you take the bottom plate off?
Took the sensors off and painted them with regular satin black spray paint. Yes, the sensors work fine painted as long as you dont go overboard and make it crazy thick. The sensors are two part, the middle sensor section and then the surround that clips into the bumper. I took them both out and painted them.

The silver painted section on the front bumper I masked it all off with painters tape, painters paper, and a bunch of drop cloths. Raptor liner gets EVERYWHERE because you have to spray it from a good 2ft to 3ft from the project so its in your best interest to cover the entire front end of the truck which is what I did.

The skid plate was taken off. I also took the oil filter door off the skid plate and painted it separate from the skid plate. I also painted the screws with normal satin black spray paint.

Everything needs to be scuffed up with sand paper so it all sticks. Paint jobs are 90% prep so dont skimp.

Hi fellow Raptors,

I never made the time to post when I got my truck back in august ‘22 or introduce myself.

Better late than never, I have a ‘22 Raptor in anti-matter blue but wrapped in satin desert named “Bleu” (real original I know) located in the Washington DC metro area.

Looking to meet up with other raptors in the area/east coast.
