Hello all, As the title says im looking to buy my first Raptor.. Budget will only allow for between 2010- 2011 it seems.

So my question is, are there any major differences between the years \?

Are there any options that are must have?

Also, it seems that some have a different display console.. thanks for any advice

thanks a lot that was very helpful.. Is the instrument cluster change from 2010 to 2011 enough to be a deal breaker??

Thanks again

Ohhhh yeah! The screen in my 2011 is frickin sweet! But the white gauge faces in the 2010 are almost as sweet. If there was a white gauge face cluster with the productivity screen, it would be perfect!

Anyway the screen is neat looking, easy to read, and a lot of your settings are stored there in easy-to-navigate menus! Definitely think about your cab size too.

Ask:

Who all will be riding in the back?
Do I need a super cab?
Do I need a super crew?
Which one looks better to me?
Do I need The slight lower weight of the super cab?
Or do I need the added towing capability of The super crew?

Hope this helps!

Just woke up so my mind is foggy. I'll add more later if I think.

Oh yeah and 2010-2011 is the best years! No silly torsen front diff that tears up all the time!

2010 is the absolute best year for the raptor! no where near as many issues as people are having with their newer raptors

I cannot confirm this, but I think the 2010's allow you to power-brake to get the rear wheels to break loose. My 2011 has a freekin nanny, that I would like to strangle, that prevents acceleration when the brake is pressed.
