we had our first rain/snow/ice storm. I am extremely happy and confident in recommending these tires to every Raptor owner!

Even on a two lane divided road, this fj pulled up next to me at a light. He took off like a bat out of hell. I caught up to him at the next light, put her in 4wd. And when the light changed, so did the outcome. I left him in a cloud of snow and slush. We came to a stop and we chatted while the next light was red. He was impressed with the Raptor, and heard they are "only desert trucks and suck in the snow".

At no time did the truck feel skiddish or unsettled. Feeling the nannies kick in when I would get over zealous with gas, or changing lanes too quickly. It was nice knowing they are there watching my over confident ass.

Braking seemed good, even when I had to panic brake, the abs never kicked in. I made it to work and locked up the brakes in the parking lot. The abs does work and feeling the strong pedal feedback from abs pump. Left no doubt, the abs never came on during my drive to work.

Sorry, this is all over the place. I am extremely happy and jacked up. The 2012 and duratracs are soooooo much better than 2011 and stock tires.. I wish I could call in sick and play all day. Since I am the only one here this morning (so far) don't think it would be wise... Lol

Still waiting one everyone else to show up. I did some JP7 driving... The duratracs take the fun out of doing low speed donuts.. With application of go pedal, it will break the rear lose and rotate and quickly find traction.

ya it dose look good are the new ones any bigger they look like it makes the truck look even badder assed lol I'm definitely going to vary much consider the duratracs when I need new rubber I'm not made of money but work hard and wanted a good truck even if I'm modding it with pips CAI and tune I figured 20+years it will be worth it to buy now rather than wait. P.S. I'm picking it up at 4pm when the kids get out of school

Duratracs

The only issue I had read about the duratracs was that they felt like you were driving on marbles at highway speeds with heavier trucks...I am trying to decide what tire to buy....I am moving to Alaska so snow is more prevalent there than mud.....I have read the duratracs did phenomenal in about everything with the speculation on the weight issue.....was this possibly because they didn't have the tire pressure correct or in the "sweet spot"?
