hummmm not sure why they would do this? I think the 6.2 should be a Raptor motor only... but oh well.

As nice of a thought as that is SLB, I can't imagine it ever having been on Ford's radar. They've got tens of millions wrapped up in the development and production of the 6.2. Need to offset the costs by getting it into as many trucks as possible.

As nice of a thought as that is SLB, I can't imagine it ever having been on Ford's radar. They've got tens of millions wrapped up in the development and production of the 6.2. Need to offset the costs by getting it into as many trucks as possible.

It's all about showing us stockholders the dolla dolla bills!!!

Don't think this is the last f-150 platform Ford is going to throw that bad boy in either...it's going across the board eventually!!!

I want to see the 6.2L in EVERYTHING.. Give me a Fiesta with a 6.2... j/k.. But seriously, numbers of engines produced will drive the aftermarket which will benefit us.

Just out of curiosity, are there any rumors of when the 6.2 will hit the standard F1's?

I'm pretty stoked that the new motors come with a tow rating of 9300 lbs
Glad that I held off on buying a Raptor
