I need to look into the CR spotless. I've got a pretty good system down for doing the 2-bucket wash on the truck, but the drying just kills me!

As for the detailing, awesome job! Nothing shines up quite like this Tuxedo Black! When I did my detail, I did everything by hand and it took me 9-10 hours to do. Since then, I've purchased a Cyclo and will use that from now on for everything but waxing.

Here is a pic from last weekend showing the advantage of using a foam cannon to get the shampoo on the truck and save time. I started with a good pressure washer rinse and then foamed it with the MTM Foam Cannon using three ounces of Adam's Car Wash Shampoo and a half ounce of Rinseless Wash. I still use a bucket of clean water to rinse out the wash pad between panels.

I am still experimenting with the best foaming solution concentration to get the thickest foam with better hang-time with my pressure washer, since Nick tells me that it varies with the pressure of the machine and your particular water make-up. For this pic, I was using DI water through the foam cannon. One downside to the quality of the sealant and wax on the truck is that the foam just slips right off!

Also a few pics during the rain storm today showing the excellent beading.

Great shots Dan!

You are absolutely spot on about the foam sliding off if your protection is intact...which is a good thing!

I tried the new Adam's Tire Shine and it is easier to apply to the tread than SVRT. Being a thinner liquid, it spreads better. I was worried it might be too shiny but it looks good. I sprayed the tread and then used the Hex Grip Tire Applicator to even it out and get it on the sidewalls.

The standard sprayer didn't seem to work very well with the Tire Shine so I ordered a small Kwazar and it works much better. I also cut out some cardboard to go around the tire when spraying as the garage floor was getting too slick.

Hey Nick, when will there be gallon refills available?

Good move on the Kwazar, they definitely work much better at atomizing the thicker Tire Shine.

Gallons will be available very soon!

As long as you don't lay it on super heavy, you won't have any dust attraction issues.

They key to avoiding that is to apply a thin coat and let it dry completely. I prefer to spray it into an applicator, then wipe it around the tire. If you want it to look like SVRT, give it a quick wipe with a clean utility towels. This will give you the look of SVRT with 2-3x the longevity. A perfect combo in my opinion. :)
