Just for kicks though if I were to buy the paint polishing bottles, where in the detail process do they belong? Do they substitute for a sealant? Just wondering if I can buy them and just apply afterward, etc. @TheWolf

Paint correction is the next step after wash / clay bar.

**EDIT:

Sorry. I might have just overstepped my Adam's rights......

The Paint Correcting Polish and the Paint Finishing Polish are used with a machine polisher to remove scratches and swirls.

If you don't have a machine polisher then you would use the Revive Hand Polish with the Blue Hex Grip Applicator. The Revive will remove very minor imperfections and swirls, but will not do much for bigger scratches or major swirls.

As stated above, paint correction by machine or by hand would be done after the strip wash and claying.

Okay so it is something I'd need from the start. Cool thanks

And you also need a machine for best results. Even the cheaper Porter Cable machine works fine. It's the one I started out with unil I received my detailing black belt and decided to buy one of each machine because I have mental issues lol.

EDIT: guess I'm really slow at typing because everyone above me beat me to it lol.

Well it appears everybody but me knows how to use it lol. But note taken, and I'll definitely be adding that to the regiment next time. There's always room for improvement

So, you're saying my Porter Cable is inferior to your monster polisher? I take offense to that comment. That 'cheaper' machine just made my chariot look better than it did new.

So............:flipthebird:
