Never been into mud flaps but my doors are heavily paying for it as it seems like every week I have a new chip. Do these require drilling?

If you are not into mudflaps, you can always get 3m clear vinyl put onto the bottom of the doors. Only draw back is it may fade and turn yellowish after a few years, but then you take it off and put new stuff on. I had this done to my truck this year.

So far, so good.

They really help keep the mud, snow and rocks off the side of the truck, and the vents look good, the sorta match the vents in the running boards.

@RDFTS had some issues with them breaking off-road, but he kinda breaks stuff for a hobby. The Vortex flaps do have a lifetime warranty, though.

I got this set from Freedom Motorsports.

Nothing but good luck with the PDP's, would highly recommend. And you ain't having fun if you are not breaking something cause that just means you get to upgrade and even my wife knows that, got her trained.

Use Quick Sealant on the clear vinyl, and it will last much longer.

Yes, add 2-3oz of All Purpose Cleaner to the wash bucket or into the foam cannon, along with 3oz of Car Wash Shampoo. The All Purpose Cleaner lowers the pH of the mixture (Car Wash Shampoo is neutral pH), which helps strip off any existing sealant and/or wax.

All Purpose Cleaner by itself (sprayed full strength out of the bottle) should never be allowed to dry on the paint. Mixing it in with the Car Wash Shampoo makes it easy to use.

Would this also remove the glass sealant? When I washed mine about a month ago I didn't have any paint sealant so I used h2o guard and gloss. Now I want to wash with the addition of the all purpose cleaner to strip that off and then start with the liquid paint sealant. Just curious if I would need to reapply the glass sealant also.

Yes, the All Purpose Cleaner will strip the Glass Sealant, so you would need to reapply.

Hey sensei @TheWolf you were the first person I thought of today when this happened so I thought I share the story with you. I've been really backed up with work so I was pressed for time so I figured on my way home I'd stop at a car wash just to spray my truck down with the pressure washer so I could wipe my truck down with some waterless wash and hit it with some detail spray so it wasn't driving me crazy having a dirty truck until I get some time this weekend to do a proper cleaning. Anyway on to the story lol. So I'm just getting finished up and all of a sudden I hear the dude in the bay next to me flipping out like a mad man so I go over and ask him if what's up. Still yelling he tells me to look at the foam brush that some ******* must of put a bunch on stones in the bristles as a joke. Well I look at it and you could see that there was a bunch of gravel just crammed all up into the brush. It definitely looks like it was done on purpose. So I tell him " man that sucks. That's exactly why I never use the brushes at any car wash. Actually you shouldn't use any brush, even at home to wash a vehicle because they leave fine scratches." Now this whole time I never turned around and looked at his car. He says thanks genius but that doesn't help my car now. So at this point I turned and looked at his car and I almost cried for him. It's a black Dodge Challenger and it looks like he just got done washing it with a metal rake. Once I saw that I just turned and left since I really didn't know what to say.
