So I should be able to order just the SPOD and the PAC, and be able to start adding more accessories, correct? OR am I missing another piece?

Ordering the universal sPod system will get you everything you need. The relay is so that when the ignition is off, the switches cannot be left on, similar to the factory aux switches. If you order just the spod system you can wire everything up and utilize the switches when the ignition is off. It also includes a low voltage cutoff to prevent a switch from being left on and draining your battery down below certain voltage so you can still start your truck.

Thanks @Rookie. I seem to remember having one of those Pac relays back in my "boomin system" days. I had it between my car battery and system battery, so it would charge the system battery while the car was running but would not pull from car battery when ignition was off. Si im guessing same concept?

Yes, basically just a higher rated relay.

On a related note. One of my spod relays failed a few weeks ago. Called spod to see if they sell them individually and they sent me one free. Didn't have to ask, it was great customer service.

Rap 67,
I'm getting ready to do this install. Do you have any tips or suggestions on this install? I'm concerned with cutting/fitment in the headliner. Also, how did you secure the switch panel in the headliner??

TIA!

Trace the switches, cut the fabric with a utility knife, and then use an oscillating tool to cut through the rest. The switches have small clips on them. I cut the headliner tight enough that they would catch when you pushed it in. It was enough to keep them from ever falling out through various runs, jumps, etc.
