hm, I was concerned about leaking and not crazy about the extra weight but I did have a 2015 platinum F150 (first year with it) and liked it a lot in that, didn't have any issue and had it from new to about 45k miles
Maybe I shouldn't be so anti-moonroof

They do require routine maintenance as you would washing your truck. Making sure the tracks are lubed and free of debris and drain tubes clear. I just took 20 minutes this last weekend to fix my wife's squeaky sunroof. It's 10 years old and probably hasn't seen a tune up since we bought it or longer. But I cleaned out everything and lubed her up and she sounds good as new

Not trying to hijack the thread but it kind of blows my mind so many people are so anti-moonroof. It was a no brainer decision for me to add, do people hate extra windows? Are you mad at the beautiful sky? Lol let some sun in! Its sunny and 75 right now I'd be rocking everything open if I had the truck right now
I have a pano moon roof in my Ram that I will be trading once I get an order for a 22 Raptor and I 90+% of the time the shade stays shut. Of the 10% of the time I actually have the shade retracted, I have opened the moonroof itself maybe 5-10 times over the past 18 months. For my use, it adds no value to the truck.

I typically find you give up some head room with moonroofs (when closed obviously). I’m not sure about raptor though as this is my first. I’m tall and like the extra space. Also in vehicles I’ve had with moonroofs, I just don’t use them. I feel like they let in more heat in the summer and are colder in the winter and I’m just not a bake my head in the sun type of guy. So I don’t want to pay for something I won’t use. Why add the weight and complication of more moving parts if I’m not going to use it.

Some things mean more to some than others. I had the moonroof on my '19 Raptor and '17 Lariat. But I hated how hot it made the trucks in the summertime compared to other F-150s without it. I more hated the noise it made just driving when it was freezing cold. I opened them maybe 30 times in the ~50k miles I put on those trucks combined. I also like keeping my truck clean, so that's one less PITA window I have to clean on my new truck (when I get it).

With all that being said, I never had an operational or quality problem with the moonroof on either truck. No leaks, no rattles after off roading and jumping the Raptor, it still opened and closed just fine. For me, why pay ~1k for a moonroof I'd rather not have?

They had it right out front. Lol. They were doing the inspection and/or had it out for transport if I remember right.

It looked amazing! I wanted to steal it. Haha
