Greetings and salutations,
Im new to the forum and picked up my first Raptor yesterday. Im new here, havent even been lurking, but Im not new to Offroading. I have a Truggy that I use for blasting through the desert and mountain back roads, used to race dirtbikes in the Az desert, and raced motocross as a kid in the 70's (seems like an eternity ago). I've been eyeballing these fine trucks for years, but for the most part, they were out of my reach. I bought a super clean 2011 supercab with 29K mikes for a great price, and am stoked to start using it exploring the back roads in the Rim country in Az. Looking forward to seeing how y'all are using and setting your Raptors up.

Welcome to the Forum! Congrats on the new truck. I am sure you will be happy having it. There are a ton of DIY mod threads and great information as well as people on the fourum so don't hesitate to ask a question. The search function will become your best friend though.

Enjoy!

morning...........

are you ok? racing mountain bikes in az? talk about a heat stroke

Oh hell No, I'm not into motorless pain & suffering, I prefer some HP for that. I used to own a few Dirt bikes over the years, had 3 different Honda's, a CZ (raced in the 70's) and later got into desert racing and trail riding. Had 2 KTM's, a Yamaha YZ, and finally had a big get off on a Kawasaki KX 500, til a C-1 fracture ended my dirt bikin days. Things happen quick on a 500!! Too bad, I really enjoyed rippin up the single track trails in the mountains outside of the Phoenix metro area.

Now, I'm in the "with age, comes a cage" crowd.

I said the same thing until I hopped on a downhill bike!

Welcome!
