Finally found a use for the mystery dash hole!!

A good place to run the wires for the Lowrance and a place to mount my other radio when I have it in the truck.

Here is what I use it for, the seats suck for carrying on the hip.

Just ran my control box for my Rockford 360.3 Processor there.
The box itself wouldn't fit, but the casing could be removed for panel mounting. only problem was it left the PCB exposed and the install looking unfinished. To fix this I took the rubber mat that comes in the hole, cut it to fit up to the edge of the level control box, and then put it back into place over the top of the box. Stuck the box to the hole and the mat to the box with a couple of small pieces of extruded butyl. End result is a Nice, clean, almost factory looking install!
