Final Wait Begins

mine hatches tomorrow!!!!!!

This week so far is pretty good. Had a 3 day weekend last weekend, 3 day work week, tomorrow my truck gets built, then a 3 day weekend again! Next week will DRAG though anxiously watching how it progresses through transport, and a 5 day work week.

Hopefully the following weekend it all falls into place and I get news of an arrival, we have our local club's bash, and I get my pay raise, and hopefully my Raptor shows up shortly after!

The wait is getting shorter but the anxiousness is getting higher!

Mine was built on 1/4/12. No sign of it yet and dealer says Ford has not updated the rail schedule in 10 days. They have no idea where it is. Wait 5 months for the damn thing to be built and now it is lost. Perfect!

Same here - ORDERED 8/26 - seems like 3 years ago. Mine being born as we speak - TODAY!

Haha, this thread progressed nicely. Lots of good fresh updates today. Nothing new on my end for now.

I'm a little sketched over the 1/4/12 build date member not knowing rail status as mine was built 1/6/12 and I'm expecting it to arrive one week from today or less.

1/23 was the original delivery date for mine but I expect a 1-2 day lag.

Im also looking at weather delays via the area of CO Im picking mine up at.....not only for truck delivery but safe plane flight for me as well. I think with all the news this month overall + this thread today....all of us are bound for intermit updates in the next week IF NOT OUR TRUCKS ACTUALLY ARRIVING!!

I will post updates ASAP as they arrive to help others and hope others will continue to do same. One reason is my salesman will be out one day towards the end of next week for training and so I can confirm purchasing a plane ticket.

My last resort will be calling SVT one week from today if my truck has not yet arrived. I suggest others who have a delivery date call SVT if the truck doesnt arrive within two days of that date. But be nice.

PS-the fact that we each get different updates, some similar, but all related to 2012 build/delivery.....the Raptor's really are a personally tailored truck and not a run of the mill F150. Very cool. Cant wait to get my SVT build certificate next year.

I did confirm with SVT that the truck was built on 1/4/12. They cannot provide any info after that. My delivery date was 1/17. Dealer told me today that rail transport schedule has not been updated so they dont know where the truck is. Hope yours arrives on time. Still waiting at this point. Will update when truck arrives.

I have one that was built on the Jan 13th,
and it's still sitting in Dearborn waiting to be updated, transported, assigned a traincar to South Florida. Has not updated in a week??

Thanks. Lots of builds the last two weeks. Are any trucks still sitting unshipped from December builds?

I'm hoping the first week January builds arrive next week. By next week I will have been without a vehicle of my own for 7+ weeks since trading my SRT, waiting since October, and dreaming since '09.
