Ordered my Bakflip Revolver x4s from Bakflip directly on 3/22. Received it on Thursday 4/7. Went to install it yesterday and the box was missing both rails.
Now I have to wait another 3-5 days to speak with someone in tech support before something can be done about it. Really hope this bed cover is worth the wait and hassle.

I had a BakFlip MX4 on my 2016 F150 Lariat and used it on my 2018 F150 Lariat as well. Sold it with that truck. On my 2021 F150 Powerboost I put an Undercover Armorflex on. VERY similar to the MX4 but just better engineered. When completely open, it's vertical instead of leaning on the back of the cab. The support arm attachment points are way easier to use and the way the cover attaches to the rails is much better designed. Also, the cover is coated with a line-x type coating that fades less and is more dent resistant.

I just sold my 2021 Powerboost (ordered a '22 Raptor 2/14/22) but kept the Armorflex cover to put on the Raptor. Am driving a new 2022 Tundra 1794 while I wait for the Raptor to come in and ordered and Armorflex for that truck.

All in all - MX4 was fine, the Armorflex is what the MX4 should be.

You are correct in the fact that the ArmorFlex and the MX4 are very similar in design as they are both owned by our parent company Truck-hero. The only differences are that the BAK covers will lean against the cab but have a cushion inbetween the cover and the cab to prevent rubbing where as the UnderCover line have more of a verticle stance to them when in the open postion. Also the coating on these two is different, the MX4 is a powder coated matte black with a UV inhibitor built into it whereas the ArmorFlex is Line-X coated. Both are excelent covers that excell in their own catageory, for everyday use the MX4 is an awesome cover, but if you are looking into more of the overlanding aspect or possible construction aspect the ArmorFlex because of its durable coating would be best. Both feature a 5 year warranty with a 400lb evenly distributed weight capacity.

The UnderCover Armorflex is also the hard folding cover you can get branded as a Ford product from the dealer. I have the painted one to match my Code Orange.
