So I was trying to do a little research here and awaiting my Raptor hopefully soon, but I did order the Raptor with both the spray in liner as well as the tonneau cover. I am wondering if I made a mistake ordering the tonneau cover. I don't really care about the spray in liner as I heard both good and bad and I am not going to be hauling much anyways, but I did want a quality tonneau cover and just wondering if anyone knows if they are any good?
I had one installed by someone else in my 2010 Platinum and it was from Access and I loved it, but can't find any info on the new ones that Ford installs.
Any info would help guys!

Thanks

Depends on how picky you are and if you care about sweating those details. Personally I much prefer Line-X liner and love my UnderCover Flex tonneau.

If you don't haul that much a Bed Rug might be more your thing rather than a spray in.

Personally I would cancel the factory liner and cover and pick out your own from the aftermarket.

Standby for 100 people telling you how great their bak is.

I saw one on a lot truck and frankly I was not impressed. The spray in liner is fine but I do not care for soft top covers and this one was thin and a little droopy. I am sure it is made by another company but I don't know who they are.

I am pretty picky, but not much on the spray in liner as I have already ordered a bedrug (yes you can install one over the spray in liner). I had the bedbug on my platinum and loved it!
I guess I will have to wait and see what the tonneau cover looks like. ETA on my truck was supposed to be today to my dealer, I just called Ford and it is still awaiting shipment. :(
I will post pics of the liner and cover when I get the vehicle and let everyone know. I am sure it will be fine, just didn't know what other people experience with the factory ones.

Thanks!

I had a bed rug in my other truck and it was simply outstanding. You can not go wrong with one.

Subscribed! I also ordered a Raptor with factory liner and cover. I was told I can change my order up to it going to build. So I am curious what you find when you see yours in person???

I had an Access on my Ram years ago but it was with a drop-in liner and leaked. My current KR has a Tuxedo and it leaks too. I was hoping with a factory that it wouldn't leak. The only thing that I heard negative on the spray-in is they spray over the bed bolts.

I heard that the factory cover has the Ford emblem on the top of it, that might be cool.

Thanks for the info. You would think that being from Ford they would take the bolts out before it is sprayed, but I guess I will wait and see. Just talked to my dealer, it looks like it will be another week before I get mine. My Access never leaked and I had the bedbug installed only. I guess time will tell.
Its all about a waiting game I guess. Within a few days and weeks, we will have all these questions answered.
Thanks for the update!

They do, in fact, spray over the bed bolts. It was for that reason I did not get the factory liner. I do not recall if they remove the tie downs before spraying the liner.

When I ordered my truck from the dealer they recommended to NOT get their spray in liner as its only warrantied with the truck. A line-x has a lifetime warranty.
