Factory front camera useful?

Anyone ever figure out a way to get the front camera to work when the tailgate is removed?

i will try to take a look sometime soon. im hoping i can get a raptor with a front camera in my shop for a few hours......... ice.....

Thanks for all the replies. The bypass install looks like a pain since you have to remove everything. I've got a fair amount of car audio experience, but still seems like a pain for such a small item.

A couple guys said it is helpful off-road, so I guess I am convinced. If I bypass or not it sounds like a worthwhile option.

Pain?...I did it in a hotel parking lot...no pain!

I have it and other then showing it off, I have used it a total of three times in the last 4 months. Twice while off-roading (very helpful in tight areas) and once when I was being lazy. ..didn't want to move shit out of the way and used the camera to drive around it.

It's really a pain to turn on everytime, but I do not have the bypass yet. If I did, I'm sure I would use it alot more often.
