This could actually be a really good idea from Ford considering the way things are these days. An entry level 4x4 with some off road specific extras. Think about it…..a relatively cheaper off road capable truck with no “creature comforts”. A good starting price point and wait for it………less microchips means they can actually produce it!!!!!!! Isn’t this what some have been asking for? I know for years the Mustang world has been asking for a base v8 mustang with no frills. Even on this forum people have mentioned wanting a basic Raptor with its off road abilities minus all the luxury items. Again……less microchips means Ford can produce it.

I’m hoping it’s a GT500 powered regular cab short bed 2WD. The Rattler name categorizes it with a snake, or Cobra. So maybe? I hope…
