Ok, so we already are scheduling;

1. Drag Race Gen 1 Vs 2
2. Off-Road Race
3. Flight Competition
4. Burn Out Competition

I think we should add Off Road Endurance race with out re-fueling and engine sound shoot out..............We girly Gen 2s have to hand you one of the 6 to stroke your ego, so we will promise to lose on sound no matter how it sounds.

everyone that has a Gen 1 put on 3.0 or want's to that is why the jen 2 has them. wondering if the jen 2 will have perch adjustments? I still have the 2.5 and will until they blow. with that said everything on the jen 2 is becose of the 1st Gen respect your elder's

I'll take on that endurance race with out re-fueling I don't think it will play a factor when the turbos are having to boost constantly just to keep up momentum. I'd even take you on at 55mph on road mpg all with :e30:

Difference for me is I don't mod engines. 450 HP in a lighter rig over then Gen I... it will get it done for me. Even on under powered 4x4 rigs, and I have owned a bunch, I prefer stock reliability. Gearing, lockers, bumpers, lighting, lifting, winch, sure. But screw with a new engine, no way. Since the Raptor is so well set up already, for me mods will be limited. I have trail rigs, the Raptor is a daily driver and beast for playing in the sand and logging flight hours.

If you want a glimpse of things to come, check out this comparison of the S/C'd S4 (stock tune w exhaust and then tuned) vs an RS4's N/A V8. Every engine is different, but the gains here are substantial. The same engine in the A6 with a chip and pulley gains 142hp and 62lb/ft. And that is on 93 octane from APR who is known for leaning on the side of caution over high numbers. So for the price of headers and an exhaust...

Chris Harris - S4 vs RS4

So a stock V8 agenst a supped up v6 and it still lost. I like the numbers you can push it to but it's still just a v6. You can't tell me there's nothing you could do to the V8 to add hp

A direct injected platform will always yield tons of power with tuning. If Ford were to make a DI V8TT, then yes, the V8 would be a monster with tuning.

I seen that but the v6 still lost in that perticular video. It would be assenine to add more power you would be breaking stuff like the 6.2 that run sc have proven already.
So how much can we push the new raptors this will be the next thing to figure out. How ever I don't think anyone other than a few bought this truck for the drag strip.
