The aftermarket IFS setup advertises fits both raptor and f150 but I haven't seen anything on the stock part. I got a Ford dealer nearby just hate to go there prices are 3x other shops

Bingo. That is exactly right.

The axle would normally be longer due to the width of the Raptor, not the CV itself. That said, the CV's can be different for a host of reasons.

True, but I have always seen them sold as an assembly.

Hill descent control is part of the reason raptor cv is different, I believe. RockAuto has them for the best price I've seen, remember to use the forum discount code.

Correct, Left one is longer, the assembly is $342 have to buy from dealer. $480 total from my friend's shop or Ford either way so have to eat it....
Getting done Mon can't wait to take it back out!

You can not buy just the CV joint. In the Raptor, the entire CV axle is sold as a complete unit. For roughly $250ea they really aren't that expensive considering you get everything.
