Tough, I needed a winch for my work as well. When I did the research the biggest no problem is the front of the frame needs reinforcement, especially if you are going to put it on only in one side (i.e. replace a tow hook). It's doable, but maybe the best thing is to out receivers on both hook locations, then fab an insert that uses both receivers....Superwinch used to make this sort of mount back in the 90's, but has since gotten rid of front receiver mounts all together.
You can get a center receiver, but it blocks the intercooler, so you have to relocate the intercooler.

Yep your right ! Did all that : Intercooler from Addictive Desert Design - de guys where extremely helpful and got me stuff to Switzerland via UPS.
Winch : Warn Xeon . The whole Winchmount from Swarfworks : https://swarfworks.com/2017-2020-ford-raptor-winch-mount/ But had to order it through Offroad alliance: https://offroadalliance.com/search.php?search_query=swarfworks because Swarfworks didn't ship overseas.
Worked all fine and i installed it myself. Fun weekend project !

Beautiful Raptor! Sounds like you will put it to good use. I love mine, also.
On a side note, I am of Norse heritage (My Dad is 1/2 Norwegian), and we have a farm/ranch in Texas. I hope to visit Norway someday.

Just curious what a raptor cost in Norway is like vs USA?

A horrendous amount of money thanks to our vehicle taxes being based on emissions. I bought mine as a commercial vehicle (hence the green plates), which means I only get to have the front row of seating in it. I paid 150k USD for my 2020 model from a Ford dealer that specialises in importing these to Norway. If I wanted a 2021 (they have two coming in) I would have had to pay nearly 180k USD. And if I want to add the back seats to my truck and register it as a regular car I would have to add another 67k USD.

So this is 100% the least sensible financial decision I have ever made, but I'm pretty sure it will bring me enough joy and entertainment to make it worthwhile

That looks really good! I fear the Norwegian authorities are a bit more of a pain - anything that sticks out in front of the original bumper needs to be TÜV approved.

My thinking here was that the tow hooks are designed to be used for recovery, and as such the frame behind it should in theory be strong enough for that purpose. Even if you swap out a recovery strap for a winch mount, the force should be similar?
