No guarantee, but I'm going to see about prerunning a trail from Johnson Valley (soggy lake) to Slash X Cafe November 4th or 5th. It will be about a 50 mile trail with the first section on the M.O.R.E race course. Cautions and turns will be marked along the way. That's if I can find one more truck with a Lowrance GPS and radio. And weather permitting.

3 weeks out and we can't wait! Not sure exactly how many trucks we'll have since a lot of people are bringing friends. 40 or so have signed up so it should be a kick ass weekend.

Well due to some road closures and mechanical problems of the other truck that was with me *cough dodge* I was not able to map the course. But with what sounds like a bunch of people showing up might be a good thing.

Hey Guys here's the game plan:

For those arriving Friday, Gordon is shooting to be at Stoddard Wells by 10am. We aren't sure exactly where we'll be setting up base camp so please hold off on setting up your camp until we get there ( assuming you wish to camp with us of course). Once we find our spot we'll post a Google Maps pin drop link here and our social media pages so you guys can find us.

Also, it looks like it's going to be cold so please bring some wood so that we can have a nice fire.

Looks like 50% chance of late shows and a 28° low for Sat. night. Nothing colder than a windy Barstow night in the desert!

Luckily it looks like it won't be windy. Cold hell yes haha. Wish we were getting this weekends weather as it's in the mid 70's. Still far out so we'll see if the showers clear. Lucky it only calls for showers so we'll be good.

If anyone is planning on tenting it we definitely recommend bringing extra blankets/sleeping bags plus plenty of warm clothing. We'll also have a couple travel trailers so we can position them to block the wind if we have some.
