The stuff they put on is high temp powder coat. They have never done it on single wall exhaust tips before only double wall. So it's being fixed at no cost. They have 2 colors that they have perfected for extreme high temps like exhaust pipes and headers. I tried, it failed, oh well.

Dave.

This suggests a new meaning for the word "perfected."

Looks good, I did this the week I got my truck but I couldn't keep them clean. Show some pics of your rear nfab light cage too. I have always been curious about how that would look on the truck.

What? MORE homework???

Lol yup! It's a shame because that metalic grey looked incredible when it was new.

What? I come back from the lake expecting a whole album of pics and you only give one!?!?! F for effort but A for participation. I guess you get a C in the class. :)

But thanks man. I think I'll do this

Now just a doggone minute there, Humvee. I provided two pictures, one of which was at your personal request. And did you bring me a leftover beer from the lake? Sheesh! (hee-hee)

OK, a couple more photos with both the blacked-out exhaust tips and the N-Fab Rear Runner. You might ask why I moved the rear license plate. It was pretty hidden behind the Rear Runner's "cage" and I wasn't sure I wouldn't get a ticket for obscuring it. The Rear Runner has tabs for the plate, so it was an easy thing to do. I used stainless steel allen head cap screws, drilled the ends, and ran safety wire through the holes to make it more difficult and time consuming to steal the license plate.
