Is it normal for others to have black soot on their exhaust tips? I do not recall seeing a large amount of any black smoke but then again I am not looking for it either. When I start it up remotely I do not see any smoke at all. The tailpipe has only been on for about a month and the last two I took off also had some black soot.

I am currently running 93 ethanol free (last two tanks) and will also run 87 with 10% ethanol in the past. I do have the SVC tune and have had the 5 Star 87 and 93 performance one too. I do get on it when driving.

I have a 2014 with about 11,500 miles and no CAI. I have changed my air filter recently.

So is this normal or should I do anything about it?

Ok, wasn't asking how to clean the tips.

I am asking is it normal to have this much black soot already on the exhaust tips?

Yes... between the tune and you not cleaning the tips, it's normal.
