exhaust object?

Hi all,
Any idea what this thing is welded to the drivers side exhaust? I don't see any wires. I have a 2019

That's the Fetzer valve!

@smurfslayer got it. If you look around they are all over. Look at your transfer case. There is a huge one bolted to it.

That's the cam phaser. Make sure you go to the dealer and get under there and point to it and say "THAT'S THE CAM PHASER AND I WANT IT REPLACED!!!!".

Dealers will often fight you on this but you really gotta dig your heels in and demand satisfaction. Escalate it to Ford if you must. This is a VERY serious issue well documented.
