My truck has had a tick since I drove it off the lot. I took it back to the dealer and they told me it was probably the injectors. I changed the injectors when I went supercharged, it still ticks. I checked under the truck and the resonator is covered in black soot around where the can is put together not where the pipes are connected. I will be taking it to the dealer but I have a cut out so I don't know if they will cover. Has anyone else had this problem?

I cut my resonator out to install my cut-out. Sounds better without it, IMO, when the gate is closed. It's been a work in progress, but no problems like you are having. GL

My resonator has two drain holes, one on either side, near the outer lip. At first I thought there was a leak after I installed my cut-out, but thankfully no.
