Hey folks. I've had this error (P144C) throw twice now, and I'm hoping to figure out the root cause. My only powertrain modification is an ADD/AFE Intercooler which vents to atmosphere. I haven't noticed any performance issues or strange noises/sensations while driving.

Reading this thread, my next steps will be to get my head in the engine bay and look around for loose or disconnected hoses. If everything looks good in there, I'm not sure what to do next.

Didn't have to look very far. I found this hose, leading from the intake to the throttle body (I think. I'm a far cry from a mechanic, and not particularly well versed in engine parts/configurations). The first picture shows the end that was disconnected and dangling. I'm guessing it's supposed to be attached to the silver port just beneath where it was hanging.

With that hose reconnected, I cleared the DTCs and we'll see if anything else sets off the CEL. One thing I did notice is that the hose did not snap or click into place - I suspect it will come loose again after another spirited day out on the trails or in the dunes. Any suggestions on how to help with this fitment? Does this indicate that the hose should be replaced?

EDIT: I also found this TSB, which isn't for my model year, but describes exactly this situation. P144C resulting from a loose or disconnected vapor line. So now it's a matter of figuring out how to prevent this hose from working itself loose again in the future.
