both jumps are about the same height. it is certainly NOT 20 ft of air. more like 7-9ft.

No, both jumps are not the same height. Using the same technique, I get nine feet for this one.

Untracked snow and then plowed into the snow bank at the end.

I only consider a jump a success if you can drive home afterwards. Sweet air, but lopsided landing and that ending did not sound good at all.

Untracked snow and then plowed into the snow bank at the end.

That's the difference then. I was estimating truck-height distances to the near side of the track. That made it look really, really high. Landing out in the untracked snow makes it impossible to judge without a video. Kudos to the photographer for making it look stupid high.
